Teaching Trust: Seeking Seasonal Part-time Talent Specialist
Teaching Trust is seeking a seasonal part-time Talent Specialist to screen, interview and manage correspondence with potential applicants for upcoming open roles. The Talent Specialist will review resumes and cover letters using an established selection rubric, conduct phone interviews and assist hiring managers as needed in the hiring of quality and diverse talent.
This is a flexible location position that is available starting in December.
Carefully screen resumes and cover letters, draft short summaries and make recommendations to hiring managers
Schedule and conduct phone screens
Review candidate materials including performance tasks and references, as needed
Manage candidate correspondence
Assist hiring managers as needed with scheduling and interview decisions
Attend training and regular check ins with Teaching Trust staff to update on progress
Document all summaries and progress using the current applicant tracking system
Three to five years experience screening and interviewing candidates for a non profit, ideally in the education reform space
History of results managing a variety of different searches with hiring managers within an efficient timeline
Experience using selection rubrics for resumes and phone screens
Familiarity with using an applicant tracking system, experience with ATS SYSTEM a plus
Ability to draft concise and informed summaries of candidate performance
Access to a computer, reliable internet connection and the ability to make phone calls
