Teaching Trust: Seeking Director of Finance

Teaching Trust seeks a full-time Director of Finance to provide Teaching Trust with consistent financial management that allows Teaching Trust staff and Board of Directors to be strong stewards of our financial resources.

What You’ll Take On

Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, our Director of Finance is charged with ensuring our Teaching Trust team and Board of Directors have the financial information needed to make decisions to drive our work and impact and manage the organization.  The Director of Finance is the primary owner of our key financial processes including (but not limited to):

  • Managing our annual functional team and org-wide budget process

  • Providing regular financial reports and analyses to inform organizational decision making

  • Monitoring our organizational cash flow

  • Ensuring we have an annual audit

  • Managing our financial vendor and bank relationships

  • Developing cost models and grant budgets

  • Providing critical support for key fundraising efforts and grant reporting

  • Supporting key talent decisions  that affect the staff experience
