Dallas & Texas History Matters- Reading Recommendations

The following are our book recommendations for truth sharing of Dallas' & Texas History. As we create a path forward as a city and nation, it is imperative that we understand how "place" matters and the impact of historical events that have created our lived realities today. I'm also deeply inspired by the quote- "Those who do not read history are doomed to repeat it." Please share your recommendations in the comments.
